Hi. I am new to this board and I wanted to get some feedback from members. I currently own the original CD releases of all Iron Maiden CD`s. I am thinking of upgrading to the remastered enchanced versions that were released years ago. Is it worth it?
I would appreciate any feedback about the quality of these releases.
Thanks.

To be honest, young grasshopper that I am, I only own the remastered enhanced all singing all dancing rereleases (from Iron Maiden Live At Donington 92).
The only one of these I have a problem with is Somewhere In Time, which sounds like it's been whacked through six million compressors. I have it on vinyl, and it sounds ten times better!
Stick with what you've got, I reckon. I doubt the remasters are that much different, and if they are they're probably no better!

Do you even know what vinyl is young whipper-snapper? Anyhoo, to answer eddiesaxe's original question, I only have the remastered CDs. I kinda went straight from vinyl ('cos I'm an old git) to the remasters and they sound fine to me. I am however lead to believe that the original CD releases are of better quality, but as I've never heard them I can't pass comment. Hope this helps.
